The former Catholic Church is located at Fifth and Central in Alton, Illinois.  It was established in 1883, and served 390 families in the 1950’s.  The Rev. John Crosson was pastor, and a parochial Grade School, taught by Ursuline Nuns, was located across the street.  Painted in acrylic on a 16 by 20 canvas.
