This house is located at 1750 Liberty Street, in Alton, Illinois.  Moses Atwood built the house in 1852.  He was secretary, and later president, of the Illinois Mutual Fire Insurance Company.  It is Federal style with French and Italian influences.  It has a trapezoid roof and elaborate wrought iron balconies and porch railings.  Painted in acrylic on a 20 by 24 canvas.
